The American Chemical Society announced that Prof. Hermans will receive the 2019 Ipatieff Prize at their spring meeting for his contributions to the field of catalysis. The Catalysis Science & Technology Division will host a Symposium honoring Ive Hermans.

Sarah presented a talk at the first ever Catalysis Gordon Research Seminar on June 23. She subsequently attended the 71st Catalysis Gordon Research Conference June 24-29, where she presented a poster on propylene epoxidation.

Sarah was selected to give an oral presentation at the 2018 CCC Spring Symposium. The Symposium was held at the BP Corporate Campus in Naperville, IL and included a variety of oral and poster presentations.
